Yeast Infection Cures

I was taking antibiotics for an infection in my eyelids and ended up with a yeast infection (happens to me every time I take amoxicillin). I cannot afford to buy the cream to treat it, period. Because you can buy the cream OTC now, my insurance company will not cover with a prescription. Will it eventually go away on it’s own?

Just ask your MD to write for rx only diflucan. An untreated yeast infection will not cure itself.

I bought a home treatment kit (Monistat) to cure a yeast infection. This has cured my infection in the past. I used it according to the direction for 3 days. However this time I am still very itchy. I don’t have the discharge anymore but the itching won’t stop. Does anyone know a cure for this or how to make the itching stop? I have tried oatmeal baths on recommendation of my mother.

Please help, it is driving me crazy!!

Get some vagisil cream. It really works great at taking the itching and burning away.

I have been using Monistat 7. That’s the applicator insert that cures yeast infections. I accidentally grabbed the wrong tube and filled the applicator with regular Vagisil – the anti-itch cream. I didn’t realize it until I inserted the applicator and pushed the plunger. Will I be okay? I know vagisil is an external cream. Please help.

You should be fine. I have also put it inside my v and nothing happened. You probably shouldn’t do it again though. Just watch it for the next couple of days and if you have any changes in your symptoms then call your doc.

I’ve heard the yogurt thing, but i’m a little skeptical about that, I get them reoccurring quite often so i’m looking for a boxed one to solve the one i have now and maybe some suggests on how to keep my reoccurring yeast and bladder infections away.
