I was taking antibiotics for an infection in my eyelids and ended up with a yeast infection (happens to me every time I take amoxicillin). I cannot afford to buy the cream to treat it, period. Because you can buy the cream OTC now, my insurance company will not cover with a prescription. Will it eventually go away on it’s own?
Just ask your MD to write for rx only diflucan. An untreated yeast infection will not cure itself.

I bought a home treatment kit (Monistat) to cure a yeast infection. This has cured my infection in the past. I used it according to the direction for 3 days. However this time I am still very itchy. I don’t have the discharge anymore but the itching won’t stop. Does anyone know a cure for this or how to make the itching stop? I have tried oatmeal baths on recommendation of my mother.

Hi,

taking a nice long bath like KaI said will not work.
but, eating yogurt and applying plain yogurt down there will help a lot. and if its not too serious yet the yogurt will clear it all up.
other than that you should probably just go and get some
over the counter medicine for that at the drugstore
because thats the only thing that will surely clear the whole thing up
